Fittonia forest flame
.
This creeping herb is native to the tropical rainforests of South America. It has small leaves with distinctive veining that can be white, red or pink. Fittonia has small, faint green flowers, but these are best removed. This will improve the quality and richness of the foliage for which the plant is grown.
The plant is demanding in terms of watering and humidity.
